Inaugurating the brand new Various Other Social Club format, Mouse on Mars – one of the most idiosyncratic and remarkable electronic music projects in Germany – is in conversation with systematic musicologist and music psychologist Helga de la Motte-Haber and Lenbachhaus München curator Dr. Eva Huttenlauch. Elaborating on their anarchic sound mixture oscillating between uncontrolled chaos and precisely arranged structures, they focus on their current exhibition transforming the Kunstbau into a gigantic stereophonic instrument. In dialogue with the Munich-based artist Frauke Zabel, Amanda Carneiro (Museu de Arte de São Paulo in residence at Villa Waldberta) will address connections between Munich and Brazil, the heritage of colonialism and the possibilities of changing institutions. Curators and writers Lizaveta German (The Naked Room) and Teresa Retzer (Haus der Kunst München) discuss the exhibition 'Propaganda of the Living World' at The Naked Room in Munich.

They address the current situation of artists coming from Ukraine, as well as those who have remained and continue to work in the country, and the support structures, challenges and needs of displaced artists, but most importantly Lizaveta will talk about the works on display and the general narrative behind the show.
