Art Prize of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich Foundation 2022

Since its 90th anniversary in 2013, KARL & FABER has donated the KARL & FABER Art Prize of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich Foundation every three years. In this way, KARL & FABER aims to intensify exchange and dialogue between the local Munich art scene and international partners, guests, and media.

The award, which is endowed with € 2,000 and a subsidy of € 3,000 for the production of a catalogue, will be awarded to a student at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich on the basis of outstanding achievement. This year’s jury members are Wolfgang Ullrich, author and art critic, Leipzig, Fatima Hellberg, Director of the Bonner Kunstverein, and Antje von Graevenitz, professor emeritus of art history, author, and art critic, Amsterdam.
