Tabea Blumenschein (1952–2020), Hilka Nordhausen (1949– 1993), and Rabe perplexum (1956–1996) deviated from norms and located themselves outside the center of attention. This exhibition and publication project focuses on themes such as subculture, queerness, and performative and collaborative ways of working. The artists Ergül Cengiz, Philipp Gufler, and Angela Stiegler question the positions of the eighties from today’s perspective. Their structurally hidden work is activated through archival material, exchange with companions, and their own artworks and shown in the cities where they work: Munich, Berlin, and Hamburg. A project by Burcu Dogramaci, Ergül Cengiz, Philipp Gufler, Mareike Schwarz, and Angela Stiegler.

The neologism JET LEG describes an asynchronous rhythm caused by cultural influences. The bilateral project initiates sustainable artistic exchanges and collaborations between Naples and Munich to open up creative paths of participation and activate synergies. As an open platform and dynamic network, JET LEG offers diverse opportunities for reflecting on and exploring artistic processes. Curated by Danilo Bastione.
